Radio Delete "Blank" Dash Plate?

Does anything exist? Basically I'm looking to fill the gap below the vents where the radio would be with a black plastic piece. This is on the track car where I will be mounting an iPad mini with OBDII read outs and lap timing.

I have a feeling I may just need to go custom fiberglass but figured I would check.

Your cheapest route would be a dash kit with a single din blanking plate.

Then you could put in a single DIN gauge pod...

I actually have a single din gauge pod already, but I was hoping to go digital so I could incorporate the lap timer and more readouts

I've seen OBD2 wifi hardware that syncs with apps for the readout. If you have an iPhone and don't mind mounting it somewhere on the windshield, it can use the camera to record laps with the OBD2 readouts.

That's the plan. It uses Bluetooth I believe not wife, but will sync with the iPad.

Are you sure that isn't for the sloped area under the AC controls? It says "lower cover" which is suspicious to me... Hope it works.

Most certainly. The BMW South Atlanta has it labeled correctly. Amazing to me is the $48 price tag. The cover under the console is $8.65 for the same amount of plastic....

I guess they figure it's a niche product and those who want it would be willing to pay more. Typical.
