Trust me it is. Unless you have a HPF Z4MC running over 700hp then you are no match. Several cocky modified Ferrari 458 Italia drivers got there butt handed to them by a modified X5M. We all saw the mulitiple videos because the owner couldn't believe it either. I thought it was driver error or road conditions but same result 3 times.

a modded one will surely be quick.... i find it hard to believe a stock one will get away from stock z4m tbh...... my mom has one and its SLOW, i drive it literally everyday!! With all the weight it feels way slower than a stock z4m..... A 458 would destroy one all day long, now if you crank up the boost on the ///M then you may have a straight line rocket until you blow one of the turbos but still handing a modded 458 it ass???? nahhhh....... My VT2 Z4m makes our stock x5m look rather silly on dig runs AND roll runs, You simply cant hide that weight....

stock 458s are running mildly tuned GTRs and keeping with them..... the x5m is a waste of time, now the new m5?? now were talking :-)

now im not going to say anything else on this subject but post one single video...... case closed. (450hp TTrs Vs 650hp x5m)

bumping again. is this really an APR splitter? i wonder how long it held up with track time...considering it doesn't have any support rods...

Look for my install method without rods in the DIY
The APR doesn't need them for track.

That said, the mod list is wrong, unless the splitter was changed at some point.
That is definitely not an APR splitter in the pix.

The APR spiller has no problem on the track even if it is installed with out the rods. I don't have the rods installed and I have never had an issue. The rods for a car that is just used on the street is over kill

Awesome looking car.

anyone know how wide the tires are? I am interested in getting a set of PSCs for the track. I think they may last a little longer than the R6s I have run.

Forgot about this thread. Have you been in or driven a HPF modified M? You will be surprised how much faster it is than a slap on supercharged Z4M. Have you ever run a SC S2000 or SC NSX? If so how did you do?

Now back to the X5M. The videos I saw clearly showed the Ferraris getting beat in a straight line. I have no doubt either of those vehicles would crush a slap on supercharged Z4.

Great video BTW. But stock VS stock the Z4M is no match. Lets not forget the obvious. Just after being in a 900 hp HPF M car any SC Z4M I really cant picture being fast. Sorry.

WTF?? lol

werent we taling about an x5m vs z4m???

im guessing a HPF car would piss over most things hooked up, but where did i once compare my car to a HPF m3, EVER???..... seriously omg Get over it , this conversation was a year ago!!!!!! thank you for your insight on my "slapped on supercharger" a year on..... This is one of the most bizarre replies i've seen in a long time, not to mention, you've completely Changed the subject cars that we originally discussed.

im entering into a battle of intelligence with an unarmed man.

This is my old car! Almost a decade later! It is for sale again! Almost bought it back but 36,000 dollars and double the miles plus who knows how hard she was driven! I’m actually now building a 2014 z435i now. After i just spent an ungodly amount on my 1995 3.4 liter stroker Supra. The z435i I’m building will be around 600 whp when done. As of now it’s full bolt on with tune, sway bars and springs, m sport. Coming is rolloface brakes, kw v1 with top hats, and Recaro sportsters. Next is gc life twin turbos. She’s going to be a fun roll racing car.

sounds like it's been SC for 10 years with a lot of track use and bought and sold a couple times in the past year. Sounds pretty risky to me...
