Re: Soquel/San Jose Road:
It's much tamer and faster than Hiway 9. A lot of commuters use it as a bypass for 17 through santa cruz. I haven't driven it in late afternoon on a friday lately. I was on it last saturday and it was a fun enough drive. Well, my wife was driving and averaging about 50 or so in her VW rabbit. I'll get a video of part of it and get it uploaded to youtube tonight if I can figure out how. They're working from the 17/1 interchange for about 2 miles and it tends to back up quite a bit on Fridays. Again, I don't usually leave work until 5:30 or 6 on weekdays, but I leave at 4 on Fridays because I work with India in the evening. oops, file's 76 meg in size, what's a good app for shrinking an mp4? I'll try to get it onto a t1 tonight.

I'm for it!
I always like exploring new routes, I'll be sure to transfer my tirepump/sealant deal from my other car into the Z for the ride (ditched the RFT's and haven't gotten my pump kit for the Z in the mail yet) |

Did you change the RFT on the 325 too? I haven't on my 07 328i, but not sure it bothers me to have them.

yeah I did, the difference is more pronounced in the Z than in the E90
the main thing that bothered me was the pirelli's (I personally despise pirelli, at the time that was the only RFT available in that size) and the price of said tires. I ended up getting a tire rack close out deal on the S-03 on the cheap. it's better, but not as much better as the improvement on the roadsters |

Anyways, I am getting my car detailed tomorrow..so hopefully i get it all back together and organized again before Friday. It will look very sharp. I had a new scratch some dingleberry put in the door the other day and its bugging me too much to not get it fixed soon. Did you know that Woody's on the Wharf is on Saturday? I've been once before and its fun. On the Santa Cruz Wharf that is. http://www.santacruzwoodies.com/wow.html Rosie Last edited by rosierobins2003; 06-21-2007 at 03:59 AM.. |

I don't have a pump in my inventory of stuff for anything: inflating inner-tubes, inflating tires, inflating footballs, pumping water out of a well, etc. I do have a can of flix-it-flat in my Z4. The coupe has a full size spare tire.
Hmm, I'm also not familiar with that restaurant. Details please? Is it a bar/concert venue like Richard's on Richards in Vancouver? Or a straight up sea food place like Joe's Crab Shack? SoCal, what kind of comment would I make here?

Any place with it's own song done by TMBG has to be kick ass, too!
