Awesome! One of the nicest looking kits for our cars, looks OEM.

Did the kit come with any installation instructions? If so, how thorough are they? (I'd want to do the install myself, but I don't have past SC install experience like you.)

Only update: Waiting on UPS, who is apparently taking a long holiday.

Here's a link that talks about the electronic fuel pump/regulator as well as the rest of our DME (cool stuff here):

It does come with an install guide (based on the E46 M3), though I'll be sending VF some pics to tailor the guide to the Z4.

Here are the various install guides (ESS, VF, and AA for the M3):

Thank you!

We're slowly finishing up the installation instructions for the Z4M specifically and we've made internal changes to readily provide technical support for ANY question, install or non-install.

Sorry for taking so long guys. I started it up this morning:

http://youtu.be/juf8VPRvMU8

Started up perfect after sitting for 3 weeks. I took it out for a short drive and it sounds amazing with the new headers, and the SC helps a little too.

The car is perfectly drivable around town and very civilized under normal driving. I can't wait for the 300 mile break in to be up! I took a video of the first drive, but it was mostly wind noise with the top down. I'll take another soon (top up).

Again, I can't thank Robert, Jeff, and Nik at VF enough for all their help! They are amazing to deal with!

I just finished washing it up and I'm going to take it out for some pics and maybe videos. The oil level is right where it's supposed to be; we'll see how the temps are when the next track day comes around though. Also, no boost or AFR gauges yet; that's next on the list.

Took some quick videos (at 6000 feet in elevation):
http://youtu.be/ZtvG-dR6DBk
http://youtu.be/uiN2bGfuO58
http://youtu.be/wduufouMmEk

The videos are in 2nd and 3rd gear because 1st is pretty worthless; it's all wheel spin and hop (even with 275 RS-3 on the rear).

Thanks. It's a Passport SRX radar detector.

Great shots. Your exhaust tips are in need of a polish though. First time I see stromungs get dirtier on the outsides more then the inside pipes.

Here we go:

Z4M VF570 DynoComp by M detaR, on Flickr

Shut it down early cause it was running a little lean (VF and I will have to work on that). Very happy with the result though.

Thanks! It's to the wheels. So those numbers divided by .82 would be roughly the crank HP (~575 hp and ~404 torque).
