Race season is ending! So it's time to get back on this. Been calling them every week to get the process rolling again, so here's your update:

Parts are ordered and coming from Sweden. They've also requested the design files for the Z4 race car so they have a starting point. Which means we'll need a test car for the next phase, @zubydafa are you still available?

I do want to emphasize that race season is Ohlins' main focus, so I ask for your patience and thank you for being patient along me.

Keep at them and thanks for ramroding this! I just did wheels, strutbar, all new stock brakes, ESS tune and now I really want a suspension better than my starting to wear stock one. Can't wait

Tell them to take longer than they need

I'm broke at the moment from SC, install, and a bunch of supporting mods....
I'll need like at least another year before I can consider spending any more time/money on the car

yup i'm available. can you find out time frame they would need the car? as well as details on what kind of testing (just shaker rig) or on track/street?

also pricing info on test car?

I've made peace with skipping the track this season. Just sold a limb for the AP Racing Formula BBK, which will take about 2 months to receive. But for some reason all this waiting isn't bothering me. I'm just sitting back with a big smile on my face thinking about next season

Do hope we successfully complete this GB this year though. I think this waiting is good... gives everybody a chance to save up if needed.

Less than 4k all included (including camber plates), but you don't need to buy everything. I don't want to give a low number because I don't want to disappoint anyone, but we should be able to come in lower than that, I just don't know how much lower.

As for update... I've tried repeatedly to get a hold of them and so far no one is getting back to me. I will keep trying.

Don't have any update unfortunately.

According to the information I've gotten from them they're still interested, but I'm getting very little in the way of communication. It's frustrating so I thank you for hanging in there.

Time to go up the chain again to see what's up.

This is typical of aftermarket development cycle. Unless they have orders on hand and money on the line, they're not going to bump this project up. Not for a very niche market like this.
