Fault code assistance
When ordering all of the stuff to complete the inspection II, I picked up a Peake Research Code Reader.
In giving it a spin, it's reporting the following three codes: 2CF9 "Throttle valve potentiometer 1" 2CF6 "Throttle valve potentiometer 1 - plausibility with regard to air mass" 2D09 "Throttle valve" Would appreciate any comments as to sorting this out. Otherwise, car running fine in all regards. |

Make a note of it, clear it, and see if it comes back.
These things have a memory like an elephant, and get a lot of one-off errors. Every time I scan my car with DIS there are about 3 "no longer present" errors from a wide variety of sensors. I'm guessing it didn't set the Service Engine Soon light, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. If it comes back, search for Throttle Position Sensor and start scheming to replace them. |

Thanks, saved me from searching for a solution to an issue that I may not have.
Cleared the fault code and made several start/ stop errands. Checked it upon returning home - no codes as yet. Appreciate the suggestion. |
