Delivery From the US

Has anyone had stuff from Turner Motorsports delivered to Canada. It is not worth the hassle going over to Buffalo to pick it up, it's only wheel spacers.
What shipper did you use. If it was UPS or FEDEX did they charge you brokerage ?. What method of shipping would you recommend ?

Not sure if you have a choice
You can ask Turner to ship a particular way but most vendors have blanket orders with the big couriers

If they can ship USPS(mail) you will likely only have to pay duties
If they ship courier ie Purolator,UPS etc you will pay brokerage and duties

There are lots of sources in Toronto for small bits like spacers BTW

Turner have a few options for shipping, couriers or USPS(mail) if they ship using US parcel post they ship international priority post the cost is almost $100 where as courier is $27 plus brokerage and duties.
What brand of spacer would you recommend, most seem to recommend Turner

I had a short shiter shipped from ECS, cost was $68 + $20 shipping via UPS. Arrived at my door and duties, brokersge & taxes came to $50. So for a $70 item I paid just as much as to get it to me. Now I always try to use USPS whenever I can. If you go the pickup route in Buffalo let me know how it goes, as I would like to get some aero skirts.

My wheel spacers would incur about the same cost ($70) so I hesitate to go the Buffalo route for such a small item because I think it would cost $70 in gas, tolls, and the charge for having the item held at the UPS store for you, I believe it's $5 then so much per day.
I will have to call Turner and talk to them about shipping. If you order via the internet the only USPS option you have is USPS international priority mail which is $100.

I can't recommend anything in particular but if you search on kijiji for BMW Spacers there is a whole slew of hits come up
