Mark on tire after autocross - pressure too low? Or an anomoly?
OK autocross experts, what is this mark on my tire from? I am almost positive it was not there before my runs. From a cone? Were my tires really rolling over that low? If so, wouldn't it make sense that over 8 runs it would be present over the entire radius(?) of the tire, not just a single "slice"? This tire is a BFG Rival 245/40/18 at 37 psi cold. Are my pressures way too low? Apologies for the weird self portrait stamp thing. I guess I pressed the wrong setting on my phone.

Looks normal. Its like when you increase your lean angle on bikes, youre using more of the tire.

Looks like a curb did that. The marks are on the side wall only. If you rolled your tire while sliding sideways, the marks would extend into the tread, but yours don't seem to.
