Your right! The large opening feels in synergy with the cabin when I drove it. With the headliner modified just so, it'll be like OEM and add a huge grin on your face and passenger when cruising scenic lanes or city night lights.
I'm even looking into a hidden LED lighting for when the door opens to lamp the acrylic fully!

Also anxiously awaiting. I even told my wife there would be no discussion over this mod. :-)

wow, pretty sweet... if only it could be implemented on this sunroof, but since I'm taking something electrical is involved, not sure how that could work since the roof is being removable.

Twisted, you'd mentioned something about it being able to be taken off I think, is that still a possibility?

It still is a possibility/option, I feel. But I'm afraid of how people handle things that are optically clear and meant to remain so. Personally I think it best to leave them firmly attached. I'm not worried about anyone breaking it as the stuff is super robust to damage that way.....more worried about deep scratches while moving it from place to place and getting a deep gouge.

Will we be able to clear bra the roof before installation? I was planning on having this done to make sure it stays looking sharp.

I'm sure you could, although the clarity might diminish some. This particular Acrylic is coated for scratch resistance. Clear bra may be overkill.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I just want to make sure it stays looking good for the life of the car. Will scratches buff out of the roof relatively easily as they would an acrylic watch crystal?

I'd imagine so if they are slight. Anything deeper than requiring say, 400# sandpaper and it will begin going through vital coatings.

Maybe this is a good time to begin a list of truly interested parties ?

To get this party started and build my excitement during the process development if for nothing else............

Did we already have a number one ? I'll have to explore......

Show us some photos soon on the moon roof so I can jump on the CF or moon roof option before the GB pricing is over. Thanks.

Damn I need to see this. I am considering selling my coupe and I would really be kicking myself if this looks amazing and I got rid of my car.
