Brake warning light and Tire Indicator light
both came on after I was doing some free way driving. Both lights were yellow not red. Pulled over did a walk around and everything looked good. Started car back up and no lights. Weird. Its been ok for another 150 miles. Any idea what would have caused this?

I wonder if its related to the mysterious radio not working, but upon restart it does?
All these restarts, I wonder if they are running windows on the Z computer!! |

Either your alternator is on its way out and messing with your electronics or one of your ABS senors has come disconnected (ABS sensor in the 2006s determines whether a tire is low or flat)

It's also possible that you hit some bumps just right, and one drive wheel spun momentarily compared to the other, setting off the tire pressure sensor. That happened to me once on my 2006--when I checked the air pressures, they were perfect. In my case, however, I had to reset the TPS, and my ABS warning light didn't come on. If it was a temporary ABS fault, then--I think--the ABS system resets itself with every start-up. Hope it doesn't come back! Rick F. |
