Torque specs needed
Getting ready to install shocks and springs - wondering if there are any good sources for chassis fastener torque specs? Am I looking at a Bentley manual to get this, or are there any online sources?

http://www.cncexpo.com/MetricBoltTorque.aspx One thing to be quite sure of is the tightness of the bolts that attach the lower part of the front strut to the front hub assembly. They need to be really tight, and should be rechecked after driving the car for a while. Also, if the lower shock bolt in the rear isn't tight enough, it will gradually work itself loose and fall out. That won't strand you on the road but you would have to get another bolt. |
