Supersprint Powerloop mufflers for Z4M - PRICE REDUCED

These are the highly desirable Supersprints with the 80mm tips and no worries about alignment issues. Bought them recently but decided to go in a different direction with the car.

Here's the previous owner's conservative assessment of the condition, after seeing it in my hands I believe a good metal polish will make it look like new again:

Quote:
Approximately 15,000 miles of use on the mufflers. Condition is good. No dents or significant damage, but there is a good amount of superficial surface scratching, particularly on the cans. The tips are in better shape. There are very few scratches that are deep enough to not come out with a proper polish job. There is some road gunk still on there as well. The underside of one can has some very mild, but non-superficial, scratching, which extends to the underside of the tips as well (last picture). There are adapters installed to allow for mating with OE (or equivalent) flanges on the x-pipe. I've successfully had these mated to an OEM x-pipe and a Rogue Engineering x-pipe with no issues.
$0LD (+3% or PayPal gift) shipped within continental US.

Hi Ross,

I bought the car with it already on over 6yrs ago. It can be a little loud sometimes but I've gotten use to it. People always tell me it sounds great.

Does it drone on long, highway drives? Sorry for the thread jack, but I'm actually interested in these!

These were my mufflers previously. No drone with these. Here are some sound clips.

I think you will get some sort of drone with most exhausts (I think) at the right speed and rev.

I don't do a lot of highway driving tbh. But I think if I ever get it and it becomes annoying I change my speed or select a different gear (if I can).

It is a loud exhaust though. But I love it....

I'm surprised that these lasted this long. The last time I saw these for sale took a whole day to be sold; to me. I've been waiting for at least 2 years before any of these came up for sale.

search for strumong vs powerloop on zpost, I posted a side by side video camparo on the same car and same road.

bump,

From what I've heard online, the exhaust system that sounds least "ricey" in my opinion, it would be Supersprint. My brother just told me yesterday my car sounds Rice

Original description says: "There are adapters installed to allow for mating with OE (or equivalent) flanges on the x-pipe."

Can these adapters be unbolted/removed to bolt up to a SuperSprint x-pipe, or were the mufflers permanently modified? I may be interested in these, and I'm already halfway to a full SuperSprint exhaust.

Those adapters can be removed, but don't expect it to be easy(ish).

Those clamps leave a crimp in the pipe which binds them in somewhat, especially with time.
You may have to cut the clamps and flanges.

It is definitely doable though.

I have no idea how these are sold.
I've been running these for the past 8 years and they sound and look as they did when they were brand new. Amazing sound without sounding cheap or high pitched. Coupled with the GruppeM intake and the sounds is amazing.

Good luck with the sale.
