Well, its been two months now, so I will unsticky this thread, but the thread is still alive if any new info comes out. And as I said before, my offer to help out with the z4um server no strings attached is still open, none contacted me tho, so either the place is dead or they have it under control

Mark...I also thank you as did the other Z4um members. I also want to add, I am not sure I will go back to Z4um. I personally have found this forum visually, functionally and in atmosphere and spirit more enjoyable that the Z4um. It will be difficult if Z4um comes back to choose. And sad if it splits the members that have come together here. What say ye we recommend a merger :-)

Well - you were one of the mods on Z4um - if you say it's time to forget about it then that is the end of that for me.
I love this forum. There is none of that "big-brother-is-watching" stuff here unlike Z4um. I liked the community there and the "problems" section. The commumity here is the same - great bunch of people. The administrator (Mark) here is FIRST RATE!! The problems section will catch up. |

I still wish that there's more international participation here. With Z4UM, I liked the perspective of those in different countries... it made the site feel like a global village.

Several of us are there already. I haunt several forums including some local ones.

Agreed, I really like it here. But I sure would love to get Z4UMs post history and DIY articles back on line ...

Also, I have mentioned this site. Really comfy and familiar here. This site has really taken off in the short time i've been a member.
