Hankook Ventus V12's

Was shopping for new tires and noticed that Tire Rack has a $60 rebate offer for Hankook Ventus V12's.

I have been using these on my summer rims, and have autocrossed with them a few times. They're not perfect, but love them for the price. I'd buy them again.

I just got the V12s a month ago for $775-$60 rebate = $715 install, balanced, and aligned. I don't track, but seems to drive very well on the street. I'd buy again just for the value.

This Evo is good value for normal street driving only...but it is a POS once you heat cycle them on the track..the tread will start chunking and lose grip on normal street driving.
Junk ! Don't use them on track or you will heat cycle it out and become a low performance tire.
This is where the PS2 durability shine, after several track days, it still retain its original grip.

I am about to pick up a set of these. Heard nothing but good things and are excellent for daily driving.

This is what it looks like after 2 track days....
PS2 and Conti doesn't have this wear characteristic.
Basically, Hankook is good for 5k miles then the grip is degrading.
