Selling Madeira Walnut Trim and OZ 18" Ultraleggera Rims, WTB Carbon Leather Trim

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hi All,

New to the forum - Last week I purchased a Black Sapphire/Sepang Bronze Light Ext Lthr Z4 M Coupe with 21,000 miles, production date 2007/01. Awesome car.

I purchased the car with OZ Ultraleggera wheels on it, but have since purchased a set of new OEM 18"s on eBay. The OZ's are now for sale. (See Pic) They need a tad bit of wheel repair but I can have this done at $80/wheel if you want it - could be great for a set of winters or track wheels. I'd prefer to local pick-up of these in Chicago, but would ship if needed. Make Offer.

Also, I'm desperate to find a carbon leather trim kit - which seems like a hot item on here... I have a quote from my BMW store of just under $1500 on the set new for all three pieces, I just can't bring myself to spend that much. I'm selling the current trim in the car now the Madeira Walnut which is really nice, just not my taste. Accepting offers or if anyone wants to trade.

Looking forward to being a part of the forum -

Half retail would be somewhere around $700. I have them listed on Craigslist for $750 - I want to be in that ballpark, but I'm flexible, if you're local that makes it easier on me.

the real carbon leather trims rarely go up for sale. if you are interested in covering your wood trim, read this thread.

Attached photos of needed wheel repair on 3 wheels - 1 wheel was left unscathed. Sorry for the dark photos and dirty wheels, extremely cold in Chicago. I work for a vehicle manufacturer so I can have the curb rash fixed at relatively low cost - or make me an offer and take care of that yourself, or clean them well and don't worry about it. As you can see from the car photo when you have tires on these it's not super noticeable. Wheels have no bends or cracks, just curb rash.

I'd rather just sell it to fund the purchase of my CF Leather trim than trade but appreciate the offer. To sell the set I was thinking $750- let me know.

based on other trim sets i've seen for sale, I think you might be a little bit high. the last time I saw a wood trim set sell, I think it was around $600. but, I believe that was the poplar, and I think the madeira is the nicer trim.

Are you kidding me, people actually WANT the wood trim? Jeece, I have that Madeira trim in my car (which is now covered in vinyl per the above thread post). LoL, I can get just standard boring trim on Ebay for like $200, and just re-wrap those pieces. I might have to make a FS thread!

absolutely, i would trade my aluminum trim for Madeira in a heartbeat. i just can't justify paying $500+ for it.

I don't want to cover in vinyl - why go fake when you can get the real deal? I'm in Tokyo at the moment so I couldn't get the trim shipped out until next week - but make me an offer... I won't give it away because I could just keep it, but I pretty much stole this car and don't mind paying the $1300 for the carbon leather brand new - I just want to subsidise that purchase.

So you can save about $1000 on something 99.9% of folks won't be able to tell the difference. That's why.

But I'll know. To me it's like putting an M badge on a 328.

I forgot to mention I found a Valentine One in the glovebox too - I'd also part with that for the right price.
