I just got my aero skirts yesterday. I'm now looking for a reputable painter, that won't rape me in the process, in the Seattle - Everett area. Can anyone hook me up?

Cheers,

Nesrevival- how are you going to spray them? Rattle cans or spray gun? Where are located? Maybe you could spray mine;-)

Im in orange county. I used rattle can for my front bumper last year and it was better than what body shop did

I was told by a classic car restorer that the maaco booth at the Bellevue location was pretty damn good. But I am skeptical.

Great! So no issue with the paint cracking or chipping? I thought they usually add flex agent when paint plastic parts. Another question, which clearcoat did you use? from the same place?

I might go this route if i can't find a reasonable shop and have some free time.

Taxes... they get you in both ends... Tax your paycheck then tax your payments.

Damn you all. I wasn't going to get these but this thread kept mocking me.

And the giant rock that was flung at my passenger's side skirt yesterday kind of sealed the deal haha.

I just got the parts today.. but prime job looks terrible. it's very thin.. so I decided to sand and reprime before I paint. If you guys are going to body shop, tell them reprime and paint it.

My prime job was terrible as well, thin and lots of rough spots! Plus, they only sent me one trim gasket, so i had to contact them to send me another. Pretty shoddy really.

Same here. Received mine few days and finally had time to open and inspected. Yes, the prime job was really bad and i also missing one gasket. It is kinda a strange that they sent 2 sealed bags but there is only one gasket. I will have to contact them and see what they say.
I will go to a few body shops in the bay area and see how much they will charge (as i already got 2 quotes from shops in San Jose for $575-$900).

It was the left hand side that I got. I emailed them and they are sending me the other side. It's strange that they have only sent one gasket to us and the prime job is terrible. Not good!

I emailed them over the weekend but haven't heard back. Gonna give them some time to respond since I haven't found a paint shop yet. The cheapest I found is $500 just for paint.

I just heard back from them after ordering a set a few days ago. They're on national backorder and should be arriving from Germany in a few weeks.

Uhh mine arrive tommorow. So that back order line is now rubbish. I say that due to the number of orders produced by this thread.
