I can only imagine the responses you are going to get from the general forum. I did the same thing once, regarding parking asshattery and regretted it later. With so many people "over there", there tends to be a lot of "them", that don't understand us Zed-Heads!

Thanks for the article link. I am always in for a review I may have missed, or even already read, when it comes to the Z4.

I agree with all of you guys. I try to explain to some of my online and realtime car friends that we are not like the typical BMW owner ....... not that it is fair to lump all of them into that category though........... but I've found most Z4 owners to be true car aficionados that bought the car because of it's handling and performance, NOT because it was a BMW.

+1000 on the sentiments here. It's a different crowd here. And I'm very happy for that.

Not to resurrect an old thread but couldn't agree more with the above comments. I'm also a member over on e46fanatics and I'm almost ashamed of what it's become since I first joined back in '07. The Z4 crowd seems much more mature and accepting. Two thumbs up.

lol I also used to frequent E46fanatics years ago. The local crew were exemplary of how car enthusiasts/owners should behave; but most of them have moved on since, and the majority of the remainder are youngsters with zero respect for themselves and others
Mind you, I've typically always been the youngest allowed at meets because I never did or said stupid things like normal youngin'

normal youngin.... that's funny. Yes there are definitely some good guys over on e46f or at least used to be but getting good solid advise is harder and harder these days. Have to search the old threads to get anything worth while. I just really appreciate the solid advise and mature sincere responses that I find here. keep it up guys... and gals.

Agreed you zpost guys are exceptionally cool compared with some of the other forums. I was lurking/posting some in the general BMW forums, but usually duck out when people start calling each other "bro"
