picked up some NT01 recently.
the set is basically brand new.
lightly track'd once - and nver used again.

it came off some RE30 18s.
the tires brand new go for around 900$ discounted.
perfect track tires.
sticky.

Letting these set of NT01s go for

Man if I didn't already have 2 sets of NITTOs in the garage plus another set of Hoosiers for the WRX I'd be tempted to consider...

Not that the wife hasn't been complaining about the wall of tires in the garage.

Somebody snatch these up before I drive down and pick up just the rears.

NITTO is going to be in high demand/short supply soon due to the recent tragedy in Japan. My best estimate is that there will be a 4-6 month impact that will be felt long after in terms of the supply chain. So even if you currently have track rubber, pick these up.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than smart

Last fall I picked up an extra set of Toyo R888 tires in 245/40-18 front and 255/35-18 rear. Of course the wife said "where do you think you're going to store those tires? Not on my side of the garage!" Fortunately my son has some extra garage space

The Nitto tire shortage may mean I will have to take the WRX to tracks a little bit more often than I have the stomach for. At least I can get Hoosier R6es in the right sizes fairly easily (and cheap).

I've got one more set of rears (275s) that's scrubbed in so I think it'll last me through the season, but I don't know if the fronts will last that long as well. We'll see. Not sure if I have enough favors left with Toyo/Nitto.
