Noob Question - Staggered

Hello,

VERY nooby question here. I've been getting various answers from Google searches and wheel shops so I might as well ask here for a more definitive answer.

Can I run staggered tires on non-staggered wheels?

Yes, assuming it is not drastic. Bimmerworld and Turner, from the specs from the e90m3 ran a 10-20 mm difference on a square wheel set-up for some tracks.

Thanks! I currently have the stock staggered set up on my 2004 z4 3.0i roadster. How do I know what wheels can accommodate these tires?

Front: 225/40R18 [8x18]
Rear: 255/35R18 [8.5x18]

Thanks again!

Tirerack has all the info you need. Find your tire on there and it should give you the recommended wheel sizes for that tire.

I'm confused. You are looking for a square wheel set-up that will fit your present tires?

I would say a 9x18 would be the widest, while an 8.5x18 would be ideal.
