My stock Z4M coupe purrs along on highway at 80mph- showing app 3100 rpm. dont forget this engine redlines at 7900 so its quite happy at that speed. instant power with no downshifting too! On the other hand my old 5 speed 330i with non overdrive 1-1 5th gear seems to rev too high and im always wishing for a 6th gear! Hope this helps u decide.
