K&N Air Filter Recharging Kit....Will Trade for a Microbrew -

I installed a BMC #351/01 performance air filter....tried to purchase the BMC recharging kit unsuccessfully (BMC is an Italian product)....tried to purchase the cleaner and aerosol oil spray from the US distributors and finally gave up and purchased a K&N recharging kit....became concerned the K&N cleaner and oil may not be compatible w/BMC's cotton filter media....and decided not to use the K&N kit....and have susbequently ordered a new BMC replacement....I'm over the MBC recharging kit search for now.

I read quite a few threads stating if the recharging oil is applied to liberally, it will foul the mass air flow sensors, etc....not worth the risk.

So....the K&N recharger kit is unused - if you need it, buy me a beer and it's yours....more importantly, a chance to link up w/another PNW Z4M enthusiast!

Regards -

The key is taking your time and NOT applying it liberally. I've had zero problems with using the K&N kit on various systems in the past (be it AFE or the like). Less is more.
