Spring Detail - Day 2...Swirl Removal and Polish

Spent the afternoon on next steps...

First up was Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover. As with previous experience on my old 3.0i, it did a great job on the new Sepang Roadster. I do love the Wolfgang product in general and love the diminishing abrasives but I think that once I finish this bottle, I will try a more aggressive swirl remover as I do find the Wolfgang is quite mild.

Next up was the Wolfgang Finishing Glaze. I do love this product for polishing and will continue to use it in the future. Here is where the diminishing abrasives work well.

Aside from a quick tire detail, this is all I had time for today. Next up is waiting for some Dr Colorchip for a few spot touch ups before I go and seal and wax. I may have to do a little wetsanding in a couple of spots but may wait till later after Dr Colorchip to see how far it will get me.

Pics below are just after the above steps. Can't wait to see how much better it will look with a sealer coat plus a wax coat or two!

Nice job! Nothing like a good detailing session on a new-to-you car...

That's hella shiny. Nice work!

I picked up some Wolfgang total swirl remover back in December but haven't gotten to use it yet. Also picked up the Klasse sealer. Have heard it's good, but can be a pain to use. We'll see soon.
