Small antenna wire near windshield?

What is the small antenna wire that runs up to the windshield in an E85 Z4? It has a blue connector at the trunk and it's not connected to anything at the windshield.

Guessing it's for key fob? Though I recall reading our cars have 2 radio antennas as well.

This one isn't connected to anything (on either end).

Digital audio from the head unit to the amp, for models so equipped?
