In the middle of Installing Brake Ducts, Can Anyone Identify this Part?

I'm in the middle of installing a brake duct kit on my non-M coupe. I've cut a hole through this side plastic trim to route the hose. However it appears I need more slack because the tube currently bends too much and forces the oe grills to pop out (too much tension in the tube and oe lower grill clips suck a$$). I know I could keep cutting but it would seem much simpler if I could remove this piece all together.

Does anyone know what the p/n is for the circled red piece? It's definitely plastic although the bar right above with the bolts are metal

should be the 90* splash shield in front of the wheel liner.

here is a pic of the material that can likely be removed (in red)...

how about something like this? there should be more than enough room between the condenser/radiator assy and the 90* shield for the hose.

EDIT:
I see what you're saying, hmm... maybe if I get a 3" flange that might work. I just don't recall if that flap area you've cut out actually has space between the trim and radiator or if it sits directly flush, in front of the radiator, which in that case there's no space to squeeze a hose in between.

Btw, your MS Paint skills are quite impressive.
