Item Interest

I've been sitting on the fence for a long while considering a car that gets better gas mileage than my SUV. I've never owned a BMW (or European car). After researching and reading for hours on end I've decided to "actively" search for a Z4 Roadster.

Here's what I'm looking for:

-2006 and above (2007 has an aux input, but I'm okay adding it myself to a 2006)

-3.0si (the 3.0i doesn't do it for me) The M is interesting, but the 2006 and above models are either too expensive, or or high mileage

-No nav. I don't like the look of flip up screen, and the radio buttons/knobs were difficult to use.

-Yes on Sport Package, Premium Package, Premium radio, and Convenience Package.

-White (preferred) or Silver with Aluminum dash

-Automatic (I want a stick, but my wife can't drive stick)

-Not modified.

-Clear title, no acidents.

-Good service history (doesn't have to be dealer serviced, but I do want something that's been well maintained).

-Under 40k miles, hopefully certified with extended warranty.

What do you guys think? I'm thinking something spec'd this way should run about $24-25k.

I'm looking forward to being part of the Z4 family!

You shouldn't have any problem looking for that kind of car. Just a heads up, you probably saw the M Roadster a few posts above yours for $22k...that's a heck of a deal, you might want to check that out. If I had the $22k it would be sitting in my garage right now

Whaaaa!

I found a local 2007 Z4 3.0si Gunmetal over Red Leather. Fully loaded with 18k miles for only $24k. I had somebody interested in my Jeep SRT8 and when I got to the dealer the Z4 was sold!!! I backed out of the Jeep sale since I don't want to be carless.

Sigh. I'll keep looking for the right Z4.
