You can get away with 19X10's and 285/30/19's. Because you are fitting the maximum width, the offset is very important.

Update:
The RAC Monolites RG63s are on

18 x 9 +38, Continental ExtremeContact DW 255/40
18 x 10 +27, Conti EC-DW 285/35
Stock suspension as of now

Not a ton of miles on them so far. Just today, during a spirited drive, I encountered a good dip in the road at a small bridge over a creek. Back country road, your typical down hill to a small creek bridge then right back up hill again. I was doing a descent clip through there and under that kind of hard compression I got rubbing up front - inner fender right where it attaches to the bumper cover.

My concern is that I would like to go to some Dinan springs and I'm worried that it will rub more often than just under really hard compression as in the scenario above.

Great looking set-up.

-255/40/18 is going to be too tall for the front. You can run 255/35/18 or 245/40/18

-With the more agressive wheel and tire fit up front, you will also want more negative camber.

-The front wheel size you are running will fit with the right size tire and camber adjustment.

Will this fit my 07 Z4MR? or do I need spacer at the back with longer bolts?

thanks,

if i want a more flush look, would i need to add 5mm spacer or 10 mm spacer to apex arc 8 18x8.5" et38 front wheels and 18x9.5" et35 rear wheels? also would i need longer studs?

How about the fronts?
I don't think I'd bother with the spacer for the rears, longer bolts. ET35 is more inset than stock ET30 from my understanding and increase the width from 8.5 to 9.5; I'm affraid it might rub the strut. Thanks in advance..

Garage List
2008 BMW M5  [9.50]
2006 Z4M Coupe  [8.77]
2010 BMW S1000RR  [10.00]
So stock in Z4M is:
F 18 x 8 ET 42 225/45
R 18 x 9 ET 30 255/40

I can get a great deal on a set of e9x M3 rims Style 220M, they are the following specs (with these size tires already mounted on them):
F 19 x 8.5 ET 29 245/35
R 19 x 9.5 ET 23 265/35

Online Calculators showing:
Up front rim would stick out 19mm more.
In the back rim would stick out 13mm more.

I don't think the rears would be a problem but i am worried about the fronts sticking out too much and rubbing. Currently i'm on bone stock suspension and camber.
Am i going to rub or is it a safe set up ? anyone else running these specs for their 19s ?

I'd be worried about the fronts. Just take a ruler, and measure how much room you got between the stock wheel's edge and the fender

Just measured it, looks like i got 17mm between stock wheel lip and the fender, which is less than what i need ... but the wheel tucks in under the car slightly when the suspension is compressed right ? so it just MIGHT fit without rubbing .... or am i just dreaming ?

I am running 19x8.5 et42 with a 5mm spacer up front and -1.9 camber. To get a more "flush" look, I think another 5 would do it. So another 5 for you should get to to the same effective offset. Not sure what camber you are running- may want to look into that for rubbing issues.

Fronts are definitely no problem

You would be 1mm more than those wheels above^ on the rear.
You will be 19mm extend more than OE

I have an 18x9 +38 on the front and it's pretty close to the strut tube. Heck, it also sits out pretty far too. The 9" front has to have just the right offset, I'd say in the +32 to +35 range is ideal based on my wheel setup. The +43 will be 5 mm further inward, so closer to the strut tube, but this is a better offset to fix through the use of a spacer. More often it seems to me that too little offset is much harder to deal with than too much offset, within reason anyway. You can only run spacers so wide....but you can correct too much offset with spacer, not so many ways to correct a wheel with not enough...

Not sure about the 10.5 +30 rear, probably will be tight depending on rubber. My 10" +27 with 285/35 tire sits pretty far out.

IMO, and it's just that - an opinion, the easiest, sure way to go for a great fit, no worries about rubbing, many tire choices is with an 8.5" front, 9.5" wide rear wheel in your choice of 18" or 19" diameter. There's a wider range of offsets that will fit with no problems in these wheel widths - above these numbers, offsets become more and more critical, and also it seems like attention may need to be paid to alignment parameters too (eg., adding camber to get things to fit).

Alright, thanks for the advice. Looking at another set now. Will these rears fit?

IMHO the fronts will look great with appropriately chosen rubber (i.e., not stretched or too fat for the wheel) The rears at +25 will sit 2mm further out than mine do. 2 mm may seem negligible, but I would say that mine are really at the limit of how far out the rear wheels should be on this car. If you went with a 275 width tire, it might be OK from a rubbing point of view, but, and again IMHO, a 285 is the tire of choice for an 19x10 wheel - the proportions and fit are just perfect for the wheel. A 275 will fit the wheel, but might look kind of stretched.....opinions.....

For reference, here's what mine look like:

With a 10" wheel in the back, the offset is pretty critical. This pic below was taken from behind the rear wheel, aiming up and forward to show the clearance. The shock is not the issue, it's the frame of the car/chassis that's the issue. Again, IMHO, with an 18x10 rear wheel, I think the perfect offset would be about +30 to +32, just to keep in inboard a few more millimeters than mine sit, but still with enough clearance to the chassis to avoid rubbing. Not sure if this type of offset is available, but if it were, it would fit great.
