Oil gear Z4 M

Do you know the exact type of oil for the gear?

Castrol SAF-XJ 75w140 is specified by BMW. In the USA only the BMW dealers seem to sell it. Mobil 1 LS 75w-140 is also approved and is what I used with no problems.

To clarify, this is for the differential not the transmission (which uses BMW MTF-LT2 or Pentosin MTF2).
