Laying down the hurt. (ESS TS2)

Say hello to my winter project. Much thanks to Hans and Roman at ESS Tuning for their help and exceptional customer service.

I purchased my TS2 supercharger kit second hand from someone in Scotland and much to my dismay, the manifold and pulley arrived damaged as a result of shipping.

Many months later, the insurance was sorted out, and ESS was contacted for the repairs. And many more months later, the manifold is finally back and fully repaired thanks to Hans. (Norway is quite a far place to send things!)

A few more minor things here and there I need to sort out before I can begin installation, but this is definately going to be fun!

I thought you already had your supercharger installed.... how many miles does the system have and how much did it run you?

No, my supercharger was in parts cowering in my basement, waiting to see the day of light where it could propel me to sound barrier breaking speeds! :P
Sorry if I've been misleading in any way on that.

The previous owner had it on his car for a little over a year, so I can't imagine it being too heavily abused. Removing the oil from the supercharger showed it was not worked very hard, and the belt was far from showing any wear.

Second hand saved me a few thousand, so it's definately worthwhile!

I thought about getting the cams done to go the TS2+ route.
Then I checked with my dealer for the labour costs, and that was $1000 for labour alone.

PAAAASS... Maybe down the line when TS2 doesn't feel fast enough anymore.

I assembled the manifold and the supercharger back together along with the new pulley mounted on.

Just need to sort out a few more parts and the install can begin!
