CD player is really weird, plays like 2 of 10 burnt cd's

Anyone else have this issue? It plays the cd's, but it won't read most of them. I can burn a bunch of cd's using the exact same process but only one or two will play, if that.

Same issue in my CD player. I was at repair point and guy there told me that it is a common problem with laser inside the radio in Bimmers.
About 80 EUR for NEW BMW drive mechanism inside radio and you have no problem for another 4-5 years. Something like on the photo.
