Definitely would have bought these a couple months ago since I just bought a new set. Wish they'd mentioned the possibility of custom building the fronts to avoid the clunk when I asked about noise. Good luck with the sale!

lol return customer discount GP?

The rears aren't S/A? They're silent however?

My current set isn't noisy up front, but ticks in the back

Your front doesn't clunk (the ones I sold you) 'cos your struts went through the same treatment, except they were done at Koni Holland. Your rear clicking noise might be able to be fixed easily and cheaply ($2~3 for the parts). I think I sent you a link of a thread on m3forum.net a while ago that shows the repair solution; you can just do a search on that site and give it a try.

And yes my rears are D/A. If you're interested, shoot me an offer via PM and we'll go from there. But honestly, I think your rear clicking noise can be fixed.

If the clunks bother you a lot, you can always resell yours and buy mine.

I won't be able to install for another few weeks so I don't know if mine will clunk or not given so many others' differing experiences. I just don't know why TCK didn't mention that option since I specifically asked about it.

To be honest, I'm not sure that this is an option that they offer to just anyone. At the time I ordered these custom-built D/A's, I got the impression that they were doing it for me 'cos I've had so many sets of TCK coilovers before.

1st set - initial version of TCK coilovers for Z4M (Koni yellows) in 2006 - clunked badly due to design
2nd set - revision in 2007 - a lot quieter but still clunked
3rd set - the kit was sent to Koni Holland to be rebuilt at the end of 2007 and no more clunks. But this took about 8 months. A few people also had their kits rebuilt by Koni Holland that explains why theirs don't clunk. I sold my kit to mfanatic325
4th set - decided I still liked TCK better than my GC. Ordered another new set of TCK in 2012, and it still clunked like the 2nd set I had. I returned them.
5th set - TCK custom-built this current kit in-house for me. No clunks.

Kind of disappointing that they have the ability to improve the product but don't do it for everyone. Anyway, good luck with sale. Threadjack over.

Bump.

Will consider offers as long as they're not lowball since I've already lost a ton of money from this.

If only I could trade you + cash or something
But I'm sure you'd have no use for yet another set.

Are the camber plates used to increase or decrease ("correct" back to stock) the negative camber on this kit? Would you consider selling without the camber plates?

I think they can be used for both increasing and decreasing camber. There's a pretty big range that the plates offer (if it's the same ones that I have that is).

Yes I'm willing to sell the kit without the camber plates as long as I have a taker for the kit first. What plates are you intending to use? The Vorshlag plates are definitely better than the TCK's and Ground Control's that I've owned.

I guess the question is, can I run this kit without the camber plates? I'm looking for about -2 deg of camber in the front.

Just lowering the car about 0.5 to 1 inch will give you about -2.0 to -2.5 camber without plates. All coilovers lower about 1" at max height.

You can definitely run this kit without the camber plates; you'd just need to get the E36's OEM strut tops. But whether that'll give you -2.0 of camber, I'm not sure.

Worst case use camber shims for an easy camber adjustment

It's unbelievable to me that these are not sold. The only issue with the DA Tc Kline's have been fixed (the noise) and its a great price.
