Moved 1270 miles from Philly area to Baton Rouge suburb. $1050 total. Every other major carrier was 1300 to 1600 enclosed. I called on a Wednesday, and had the car here the following Friday (9 days) after my 4 week cluster f**k with Horseless Carriage. Just got the Alarm, stubby antenna, xm / intravee / ipod / spec dock crap all put in. Found a cool spot for the XM antenna - welded an additional part to the GPS antenna holder, and put it there. Very stealthy and still gives a metal surface for the antenna to mount to (ground plane). Yes, the whining noise comment was an attempt at humor Mr Waffle. I have 2 supercharged outboards on my boat, a supercharged miata (that is really only slightly slower than the MC!), and a civic that will spank both of them - but that's not a street car, its an autox beast (330HP / 1970lbs), and had a 2nd gen RX7 track car I sold a month ago. I know a bit about cars guys, all of these mods were done by me, and tuned by pros. Gonna put the trunk back together and test the electronics, then's it's wash and wax time for the rest of the evening. Can't wait to make this thing shine! Next is the CSL headers - which I already had coated by jet hot, and have the bungs / egt to weld in. I love this kind of crap! Waiting on the car for 6 weeks made me buy too much stuff. Thanks to all of you and to the info available on this forum, I have been doing my homework! |

I grew up outside of Philly, and man, people are much nicer down here Roffle, you should come visit. Maybe it's cause we don't put our cars away in the winter?
Lighten up dude! |

Wow. If I got a bronze coupe as a gift, it would be an understatement that I'd be the happiest guy alive. Then I could drive it instead of the roadster when it's not a top down kind of a day, or for road trips

LOL about the Miata. I figured your wife for an enthusiast from comments earlier in the thread. Bet she can "drive" a bit too... Got my wife one a couple years back--it's all she wanted, small, fast, quirky, and MT. Tell your wife my wife (Skelekitty) says "cheers" and "enjoy"! |

Wow, congrats! The other cars sound mean. I am just finishing my supercharger install. If you ever feel like showing those cars off, I'm down for a drive!

If I didn't have the Interlagos Blue colour, I would have hunted this colour down. One showed up relatively close to home but I am happy with the Blue Meanie Roadster.
A very nice addition to your stable!

No, just held the camera over my head and took a bunch of shots without the viewfinder - there were quite a few bad ones... |
