headlight washers?

i find them annoying, they over-spray onto the hood, frankly i find them useless and just another way for BMW to make money on parts when you have a collision. so my question is, has anyone disconnected them? i would love to, but am worried that if i disconnect power they my rattle around and not stay shut, and if i clamp off the fluid hose that it might cause issues. thanks.

You can pull a fuse or just the actual plug on the washer reservoir, it's the front plug.

Pull fuse number 40 or disconnect the washer pump.
I pulled the fuse and have had no issues.
Do a search on Bimmerfest for the rest of the story.
