I was considering selling her so I went back to stock. Still on the fence about selling it...

If I keep it I'll do the same setup or try a used aftermarket set. I miss the noise! The the factory look isn't bad because I painted the ugly mufflers so now all you see are the tips.

those DPE' are ugly!! you should sell them to me cheap ASAP

they look a little heavy(M-B) but next to the BBS LM's these are my choice! And I love DPE wheels and their crew. Great people and great products

Thanks again for everyone's input

Evoking,

I am with you. I thought I was buying race inspired wheels, but I keep hearing bling bling.

These wheels are light, no chrome no paint etc.

I admit they do pop a bit, but hey it's an M.

I should have mentioned that this is a work in progress.

-H&R springs and 235/35/19 to come soon. I will post pics when work is complete

I am considering changing the color as well, but I will wait until I see what she looks like w/ new rubber and a lower stance.

Side note: This post has been awsome and I thank you guys for all your input

i thought the spokes were polished. i guess my eyes are going bad. In that case they look good on the car. i just don't like the whole wheel polished or chrome, just the lips. both are good decisions. you will defintely get a lot of compliments from those wheels.

What's hurting this application is 2 things one of which you are about to address:

1. Lower the car

2. The tire profile is too high... Especially on the front. Seems more noticable on the DPE's because they're not hyper black and the spokes don't come clear out to the lip like the CSL's.

I am a fan of both the clean look and the Deep muscular look (currently have some deep Work wheels and love them). Hands down deep forged wheel gets 10x more looks and isn't blingy in the chrome cheapo way at all. In fact many race cars have similar looking modular wheels.

Nothing special looking about CSL wheels. In fact, we're the only ones that notice or care about them. But the average granny, little boy/girl, women, club stanks et al even recognize a nice set of forged modular wheels - But again not in a bling way. I many love (but not all - so calm down flamers) love CSL's because they're cheap. But given the choice between the right I-Forged, BBS LM, HRE, Work etc for same price most would pick the forged.

I say drop that sucker, tighten up the tire thing and if you really want to get agressive you can powder the centers anthracite or black!

If you are driving an ///M Roadster or Coupe you are going to get noticed regardless! Lol

Obviously, you can see which way I lean...CSLs with a fat tire just look so damn muscular...
