wheel hop also breaks tail lamps, tail lamp bulbs, and eventually separates the rear bumper....:-)

Drove Philly to Ft. Lauderdale yesterday. I've done this trip before without stopping for sleep, but had to do it this time for 4 hours. Took me a personal best 18.5 hours if you exclude my mid-trip nap.

Car performed flawlessly, with a trunk and passenger seat filled to the brink with cargo. Even weighed the car at a truck stop (165lbs driver, full tank of gas, + a LOT of cargo). Also did a quick sprint on a desolate road, but didn't go faster because I was holding the camera phone in my right hand, and was afraid the extra cargo's weight would make it unsafe. The HR coilovers helped the car feel very planted at 130mph, and the car accelerated there very reasonably in just the 6th gear

electric exhaust cutouts are the next ordered mod. Will have these installed after the x-pipe but before the muffler. Should sound like Satan at full throttle, but flick the switch, and back to no-drone quiet exhaust =). Screw aftermarket mufflers!! Ordering the best quality ones I could find.

There's a small wait on these DMH low profile units, 5-15 days.

Its designed to hold a lot of power and rev quickly, not to be smoother than stock. No lighter aftermarket kit will be smoother than stock (which is fine for me at this power level)

tom, well with all the bad weather weve been having over here, im going to do the clubsport install while the cars stuck in..... also with my reinforced front upright domes and will also be also adding my Re Rear mounts, getting alittle excited about it now!!

any tips for me??

im going to do this with the hardtop on, so the roof will be down, will this be an issue in terms of removing the trim on the trunk??

Was going to spread this over 2 days taking my time.

Since I've had the chance to take apart my trunk (boot) twice to access the rear shocks, I've realized on my second time that you don't have to take EVERYTHING apart. Only the big tray, the thing with the tray hinges on both sides, and then you can kinda peel away the side carpets after removing the things that hold them. Don't bother taking off the carpet in the bottom of the trunk, or anything around the tail lights. Hardtop should not be a problem, I think..

Also make sure you remember how the washers are installed on the stock shocks, as installing them wrong can make a shock punch through the hole. Happened to me. Also, the first thing you should do is remove the big bolt on the bottom of the shock, to allow the suspension to fully drop down, which will make the springs install very easy with just your hands.

Don't overtighten the nuts holding the front strut assembly up (the 3 poking through the top). They strip easily

awesome thanks for this so.....

on the rear be careful with washer layout.. bear in mind im using Re mounts...

Only need to remove the tray, is this difficult or piece of piss??

the fronts im always very careful with the nuts, Tq figure is 35nm.... will grab the tis to get Tq figures for all parts.... all in all, is this something you felt comfortable doing??

ill then drive to a shop to get alignment.... i will be trying to lower the car the minimum amount possble....
