Streaming music from phone to car?

If you have your phone paired to your car's bluetooth/radio. Is it possible to stream music from your phone directly to the car's radio? There's a radio station that I can currently get through my phone that I would love to play through the radio. At this time it will play the streaming media through window's media player on my phone.

The only way you're going to achieve this is by running an aux-out/headphone cable from the phone to the car's aux-in.

Yeah, the car does not support the version of bluetooth that music can stream over... and most phones do not either.

Looks like the new Z4 is going to support advanced audio profile capable of streaming high quality music via bluetooth. Next gen mp3 player and iPod also expected to support this as well.

I ended up just installing an audio out and getting a 2.5mm adaptor for my phone. So now I can stream radio through my phone via the internet links which then activate windows media player and right into my car.

Yeah, I have Pandora Radio on my iPhone and stream that... I love it!

Yeah- pandora is what I use too. I think it is easily the best streaming music program by a mile.

Shoutcast is now the main app I use for my iPhone. Search for Hitzradio or Pulsradio in the app for some awesome beats.
