CSLs installed - Michelin PSS

Love it! Much quieter, much stickier. Changed to hawk ceramic pads.
No dust yet!
Also, think it makes the car look great. One day I'll get a few non cell phone pics up....

I have been contemplating these wheels or black apex 8 for my street rims. Can't make up my mind! Looks great though. Post some more pics!

Only 2 things left.... 1/2" drop and a supercharger later...

Any input on what springs to go with for 1/2" drop?
Also, are the factory struts still in the optimal range with a 1/2" drop?

I would suggest coilovers. The ride will be better than just springs and you can fine tune your ride height.

+1 on the coil overs. Dubsesd and I are both running H&R coil overs and seem to be a reasonable option.

Eilbach Pro Kit provide the drop you want for a few hundred dollars. Z4-Forum has a thread with good input by members.

I just swapped out TCK CO to Eilbach over the weekend. Distance from wheel center to fender edge is 13.5 inches. The ride is softer of course. The spring do eliminate dip and swat factory springs have on hard accel/stop.

This will not work well for our cars unless you want to move it

I like to have a lift for home use sometime in the future. It sure beats floor jack and stands. They are not very expensive (~$1000) for used. These are not designed for home garages. I've seen two home solutions. EZ Car Lift and MaxJax. Both are around $2000 but looks like MaxJax is a better for my needs.

235/35 front, 275/30 rear.

The forklift is getting ready to leave and go to my wifes warehouse.
It is handy though - I just repowered my boat with new engines, sure makes handling 300HP outboards easy!

Thanks for the positive comments. I am very pleased with the car so far.

Also, you can't tell in the picture - but I repainted the lower passenger side fang - as the prior owner had smacked it pretty good. It came out awesome for an amateur like me!

Hmmm I wonder if I would have a problem running 275 in the back lowered on H&R coil overs. Anyone running this?

I was running 275/30/19 on TCK CO with 600# rear spring rate. No rubbing with car lower to 13" from wheel center cap to fender. There are slight rubbing on inner tire during very hard corners.

Totally agree! I followed dubseed's advice and did H&R coil overs last week... 1" drop. Car looks and rides great!
