Phil,
What kind of paint did you use for the steering wheel bits? Some have painted them satin, some with rubberized paint, and some have them dipped. I'm still undecided on what to use, but it is on my short list. Probably like yours, the BMW rubberized coating has been scratched/worn down in a few places. I have those strut-tower caps. They clean up the engine bay and look nice. Any plans for the oil filter aluminum cap? Thinking of polishing mine and clear-coating it. Is the top piece in the trunk of the coupe--don't recognize it, but I have a roadster. Salty

Looks fantastic -- like it just rolled off the line in Spartanburg, SC. And no more steering wheel rash. Did they happen to mention anything about the durability of the steering wheel painted bits? I keep procrastinating on that project.

Don't know if Im gonna put on the SS Race or not. I had it on my previous Z4 M and all I remember was angry neighbors and a lot of highway drone.
What do you think? Im not very happy with the stock sound either but SS Race might be to much? |

So, it's not too loud anymore???
SS Race was a bit too loud for me as well and the tips stick out a bit further than I would have liked. But overall, the most important factor is that if you like it is all that matters |

I really like the Super sprint Race mufflers with the Super Sprint X pipe too. DKF hangers to hold mufflers for better adjustment and reduces inside drome. I love it.
