So my car is getting a photo shoot/editorial...
I was contacted last week by a guy from a motoring mag over here that want do a piece on my coupe and me. So they organised a photo shoot session yesterday in Dubai. There is also an editorial about the car and interview that they did for a write up in a mag. I asked the guy for some copies of the photos and hopefully will get them after they publish the article. Hopefully the photos turned out ok, and i hope my mug in one or two of them didnt crack the lens.
the editorial is about how i came across the coupe and what ive done to her since ive had her, and also about how rare the M//coupe is over here. so stay tuned, hopefully it will turn out nice. The car was I must admit looking very, very nice in the last few weeks. and especially now with its new stance. The photographer was totally stoked, both with the car and with the shoot. so yeah hope it turns out nice.

That's very exciting! I plan to do something like that here for our next edition for the ZSCCA but I'm thinking it will be more contest based and user submitted. Y'all will probably see a thread pop up about it here in the near future.
You should link us if the mag is online upon completion! (Even if it's not in English ) |

Being featured in a magazine is a rare privelege and I hope you really enjoy the article to come from this! My car was on the cover of the Canadian BMW club's Atlantic chapter newsletter a while back:
http://bmwclubatlantic.ca/Propellor_JAN2011.pdf The phot is by Ctrl-C, who also has a silver Z4 3.0si and posts here from time to time. Cheers!

Vanne,
Excellent, that's great! I'd love to see the article once it's published, if there's any way for you to post a copy online. Rick |

That's awesome. That all happened in 2 weeks time? Incredible. My Scirocco was photographed by Les Bidrawn at european car in early 2002 - the article appeared 3 full years later, in 2005!

So you're a pilot for Emirates!! Cool job.
I was wondering how an Aussie ends up living in Dubai. Looks like I'll be spending a month or two working in Canberra this summer.

thanks guys for the appreciation. I have a full high detailed pdf from the printers, but i have no idea how to post/host a pdf. Yeah it was a really fun day of photos, id recommend everyone to give it a go. the photographer was stoked with the car. Rick, i would if i had a lockable garage mate sadly enough i have sunshade screens (remote activated) as our company doesn't allow permanent modifications to the house. (at least that they can see) which kinda annoys me as my carport lets in quite a bit of dust. at least its out of the sun.
anyone know how to post a pdf?
