Transmission Problems

Okay here we go, again driving no problem..suddenly....she wouldn't pull, looked, transmission light was on, so she's not catching the lower gears....so looks like the cogs are burned or stripped..any suggestions...

Automatic or stick shift, I am thinking automatic. Any check engine light on ? If so check for transmission code. Could be just bad transmission sensor and vehicle is in limp mode, then you lose all power to save transmission.

Thanks dude I have an appointment next week, I hope it's that and yes she's a slush box, but I had no problems with the tranny up to it just not catchimng gear...thanks bro

Glad to hear it was just sensor. Do you know if it was sensor in transmission? If they had to drop the pan then at least you got some fresh fluid in there and a new filter, good preventative maint.

Well I'm going to pick her up Firday so I ask him to change the fluid..been driving my wifes toyota..(HELL ON WHEELS) yuck...but I been getting an earful from her Bimmer this and bimmer that....I don't care...I love my bimmer
