Quality, fit and finish. I remembered some of these ebay headers don't fit properly or have leaks etc.

True, you get what you pay for...for something you can't see..at a fraction of the cost..I feel like the parts for our cars are way over priced..you just paying for the name..

Garage List
2011 BMW M3  [0.00]
2007 BMW Z4MC  [0.00]
1985 AE86  [0.00]
off the top of my head:
  • header flanges dont line up with the head
  • header flanges too thick for o.e. exhaust studs
  • header leaks at flanges
  • 02 sensors placed in wrong spot/angle
  • header does not clear front control arm bushing
  • header does not line up with o.e. section 2

but if you can deal with these, they are cheap enough to make work-as long as the welds dont crack.

What? Sounds like you are mad at it? We have virtually identical cars, how can you not love it? :-)

Does anyone here have the Status Gruppe headers? Wondering on fit and how they held up. Do you think they would be on par with the euros?

Lot of peeps at M3Forums have experience with them, from what I've read the newer version is an improvement over the old, better fit, etc. etc.
