I wanted to drop a note about forum member danbmw1. He is the member parting out the Z4 Roadster. I bought a great Z4M steering wheel from him from his SportDesign Auto LLC business. Daniel is a great guy. He is selling parts at a more than competitive price. I could tell in all of my communications with him that he is the kind of guy you want to do business with. My steering wheel arrived in two days and was wrapped up really well. He has a Z4MC track car, has done suspension conversions etc. and has the Z wrench turning chops to be a real asset when buying parts. I got no sweetheart deal to make this post. Never met him before this transaction. He seems to be BMW specific with the parts/cars he chooses to part out.

I purchased a set of E85 Z4 M Extended Leather Sun Visors last week and they arrived were as pictured and described. Shipping was very fast and arrived well packaged. Answered all questions and included photos too. He's a good dude.

Now I should probably source an M steering wheel for my girlfriend's Z4.

Agree with this! Purchased center console rear trim last week - great communication, multiple photos, reasonable price, excellent packaging and quick shipping, great experience - would definitely recommend.

Were you replacing existing leather visors, or upgrading?

Upgrading. The plastic visors are very cheap and the leather ones class the joint up just a little bit.

To be honest I never use my sun visors but getting parts from an extended leather optioned Z4 doesn't happen every day.

The reason I asked, is my car has the extended, but the visor mirrors have always been stuck closed. I bought another set off ebay for $60.00, they didn't know what they were, and that set was fine. Wondered if you had a bad set like I did. For others shopping for these look for images with the sliders open showing the mirrors.

Mine have glue residue from a top issue so I purchased the extended leather set.

I never use the sun visors since they are so small but the leather is a nice small touch. Previously I had considered have my original set reupholstered in alcantara but have moved past that now.
