Want to Buy Eventuri Air Scoop for Z4M
Hello, I am looking for an Eventuri air scoop for Z4M. I'm thinking about buying a used Eventuri intake but it doesn't come with the scoop and I'd like to complete the package. It seems that these scoops used to be sold separately too but that's no longer the case. Would also maybe consider RPI scoop for the right price but I've heard about fitment issues with those and would also prefer to have the one designed to go with the intake. Location is SF Bay Area but willing to pay for shipping if cost is reasonable. Thank you! |

I'm currently specifically looking for an Eventuri scoop to match the intake as was originally included. I'll let you know if/when I decide to look at RPI too though. Thanks!

Just an FYI, the RPi scoop covers a larger area than the Eventuri...so in theory, "should" be able to get more of a ram air effect over the Eventuri. I would only pick the Eventuri over the RPi just for its slightly easier installation. Otherwise, I like the RPi over the smaller Eventuri.

They both just "scoop" air and just directs it toward the OE opening behind the grille, which is the same on all cars - not much sophistication behind it. Most of the Eventuri engineering is their use of the inverted cone filter and the design of the carbon housing that they placed just behind the OE opening.

This guy makes the perfect item, off the UK Z4 Forum. Bit more than a hundred dollars though. Very well researched, exquisite finish, and easy to fit. Well, as easy as dropping the bumper and refitting can be.
https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic...9&hilit=gazzzz No affiliation. But it makes both our 3.0si coupe and 4M coupe snort just a little more |
