Confusion on Distributor Caps and Rotors...

I looked at the following site on tuneup information and am making a 100k list of items to replace (DIY) and I know how to do most of these, except a few. The one I want to points out in this thread is the distributor cap and rotors. I understand the cap part and can find that part easily, but the rotors always seem to come up as braking rotors, not engine rotors and I am confused. What is this part, where is it located and how do I search for replacement parts that not related to the braking system?

You have a distributor? I don't think so.
I don't know anything about the non-M engines, but I don't think any serious car has had a distributor beyond the '90s.

Pretty sure 6 new coils is what you're looking for.
Got mine from Amazon.

Interesting... I can buy a distributor for my car on amazon and ebay so not sure, I guess I would have to wait to see what others have to say as well before making a conclusion. Thank you for your input.

Like stickmon says, no distributor no wires.

Ebay is not the best resource for research BTW.
Might be worth buying a chilton manual if you want to tackle DIY on your Zed.

No distributor. I wouldn't replace all the coils unless more than one has failed. Otherwise, casualty maintenance only (fix it if it breaks).

Spend the money on shocks and front control arm bushings. Spark plugs wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Ebay will try and sell you a bridge...
