Z4M coupe + 2 tires in the trunk
I am going to USA next week to bring a Z4M coupe to canada. I would like to bring also 2 x (2 rear tires) delivered from tirerack. my question is: can somebody tells me (try) if the 2 tires would fit the trunk.
many thanks |

Don't think it's going to work. While I didn't actually try it, I did measure. The rears are ~26" in diameter and ~10" wide. There's less than 26" in the back between the shock tower on the left and the batter cover on the right, so the first tire won't even lay flat. Even if it would, you don't have 20" of height to stack a second one on top. At best you ***might*** be able to put one cock-eyed in the back and buckle the other vertically in the passenger seat. There's maybe a chance of wedging the second one half on the one in back and half on the bulkhead behind the seats, but I really doubt it--not much height to work with. Sorry.
Install the new tires in the States? (TireRack may have a preferred installer with weekend hours near where you're picking up the car.) Have them shipped to home? Enjoy the car! |

you would be hard pressed to fit two in the back... i have tried but my tires were on wheels. Maybe since your tires are not on wheels they might fit but it is doubtfull. Just put one in the trunk and one on the passenger seat

I've had 4 tires in mine before. As long as they're stock width you should be fine.
