Some trouble removing battery M coupe

I'm having some trouble removing the battery. Seems like roadsters and coupes having slightly different battery mounts. There is a tab or clip along the bottom of the battery mounting area. I hope the photo shows up below.

There looks to be a plastic screw that holds this clip in place, which on mine is stripped but I am able to get a 8mm socket around it but turning it does nothing to loosen it up. Not sure if it's supposed to be removable. This clip is preventing the battery to be slid out. How do I get this off to be able to get the battery out or is there some other way to get the battery out without taking this part off?

Odd, I'm able to see it on my phone and laptop. Here's the direct link https://imgur.com/a/FNtNXWu

Those plastic screws strips pretty easily. It's similar to those used on the top plastic radiator cover. Try to get something to grab onto it and pulling it out as you turn it counter clockwise. I just replaced mine with a push expanding rivet

Ok, after clearing cache, I see it. Anyway, yeah, the soft plastic strips easily. Use small flat blade behind the plastic washer and pry outward while unscrewing it.

I always tell myself I'm going to do that then remember after I put back in the stripped screw. lol

OP, I just ust a flathead screwdriver or trim/rivet tool to put pressure on it as I spin a socket on it.

I tried a trim removal tool and turning it while prying but it wouldn't budge. I eventually just brute forced pulled it out with some pliers. This was way harder than I thought it'd be.

Anyone know the replacement part number of the screw + expanding rivet? Or what size plastic push expanding rivet to use?

Gosh - it's been at least 2 or 3 battery changes ago that I did this. But if memory served, I believed I used one of the wheel liner expanding rivet that I had on hand (P/N 51118174185). Alternatively, you can just buy a box of various sizes and find one that fits best, similar to this => https://www.amazon.com/GOOACC-Bumper...66&sr=8-5&th=1
