Supersprints Installed - M Roady
So Wednesday my wife calls me at work and asks "did you order something from BMP Designs? They just delivered it." I said well I actually ordered from Bimmer Performance Store but they must have decided to drop ship it as soon as it arrived from Italy. That night when I got home, I ate dinner and then decided that even though it was now 8:00 pm I would survey what it would take to put them on. I thought well I'll just remove the stock cans and then tomorrow night I can install the Supersprint cans. After I removed the stockers I thought well what heck, it won't take much longer to bolt them on. By the time I had everything bolted down and lined up it was 11:00. So I decided to wait until morning to listen to it. Most irritating part of the install was getting the 2 screws at the from/center of the undertray back in without the clips falling out. I went with just the Race Cans and used the original X-pipe.
Driving to work the next morning I was very pleased with the sound. Now the car sounds like it should. Nice tone without being too loud.

I like the sound a lot. With the top up there is a little drone at certain speeds/engine load, but overall very little. Just another reason to leave the top down as much as possible. I am really pleased with them as it makes the car sound more like a sports car should without being too loud.

i loved my DINAN on my 3.0... sound just got better over time. my only complaint was with the top up there was engine drone... not bad at all, but noticeable. exhaust is next on my list this spring... it will be between Eisenmann, super sprint, or dinan (assuming the keep their FEB 08' promise).

Very nice. I'll be ordering mine soon. Can't wait to take a nice drive out in the hill country with it.

A video just for fun. Fred Eaglesmith and the Flying Squirrels provide the Z4M theme song.
