06 MC with build date of 9/13/06. Currently sitting at 56k miles. Used as my daily for a while but been enjoying the garage life the last few months.

Bunch of guys on m3forums are well over the 200k miles mark. They track their car too so shouldn't have to worry about longevity. Just keep up with the basic maintenance like oil and valve adjustments and you'll be fine. Oh and consider doing rod bearings around the 100k miles mark. Bullet proofing the vanos would be a good idea too.

2004 Z4 2.5 with 189,300 miles. Got it used last year with 184,000 on it then. I was told the engine had been replaced with a used one, not sure exactly how many miles were on the replacement engine. Car runs great, fun to drive, top only goes down and up once a year! Down in the early spring, up in the early winter. Love it!

83K now. I don't DD my car, so it only gets around 4-5K/year usage. It's been very reliable even with some track days. Really minor stuff has gone like the inner halo bulb. Otherwise, normal maintenance has kept my baby on the road with lots of smiles!

114,000 on my 2007 M Coupe. Daily driver since I bought it at 30,000 in 2010. While under CPO it had the Vanos replaced and the alternator. Other than that, just maintenance. I did learn about Blackstone testing well after I bought the car, lead was very high at first (indicator of too much wear on connecting rod bearings), by letting it partially warm up almost every time before I drive off I have that down to very good readings. Change oil every 5,000 miles. I plan to drive this car forever.

2007 Z4MC
Build date Jan 2007
Put in service in July 2007
I purchased from Enthusiast Auto in March 2013 with 19,500 mi
Currently 48,800 mi

Spent some time as my DD with a 140 mi round-trip daily commute.
Now a non-winter driver averaging 5,000 annually, with the occasional HPDS.

Repairs:
24k - Leaking headlight sprayer and Bank 2 pre-cat O2 sensor replaced at under CPO warranty.
40k - Battery replaced

Replaced all fluids just prior to 30k, and had valves "adjusted" for the second time in my ownership at 28.5k. I say "adjusted" because no actual adjustment or shimming was required either time.
So... question for the forum: what interval for valve adjustment makes sense?
My plan is to do 30k intervals. Any downside to this?

If you go by the "inspection" count down in the odometer, it'll say every 30,000.
My oil/inspection counter counts down 3 miles for every 2 actually driven, so if I went by it, it would be every 20,000.

I think every 30,000 is reasonable. I keep a detailed spreadsheet so I can track if they're changing.
They haven't in the last 60,000 miles. Currently at just over 150,000.

Bought my 06 Z4M with 55k miles on it exactly 29 months ago. Car now has 73k miles on it, with zero issues ever. I've replaced a ton of cosmetic things, badges, steering wheel, shift knob, floor mats, windshield trim, 3rd brake light, etc. Also done the maintenance including inspection/valve adjustment.

It's nice to see Z4Ms in here with 115k+ miles on them, and I'm hoping these cars have never had the rod bearings replaced? I'm from the old if ain't broke don't fix it camp, and after talking with my local indie shop we've decided to leave the bearings alone (three oil reports in a row looked fantastic). A VANOS overhaul might be due this spring as preventative maintenance, but other than that I hope she just goes and goes forever.

31000 miles on my '06 Z4M
Owned since new Nov. of 2006

Other than regular fluid changes and a set of tires,
just the valve adjustment ~24k and one replacement battery.
Kinda crazy to think not a single part has "broken" in ten years
of Summer driving.

2003 2.5 Z4 260,131.

Recently at 255,000 oil consumption went up. Compression and leak down numbers are OK. Stuck rings are suspected. Tried liqui moly engine flush and changing oil to Mobile 1 10W-40 full synthetic. We'll see.
