3.0Si 2007 Coupe listing Ohio/Great Lake area
Been looking for a replacement BMW for my wife (e36 is sold after 10 years of ownership) Have been looking mostly for a 328 Coupe E92 and came close begining of December but the seller sold to someone else closer for $500 over our agreed price. Anyway just came accross the following Z4 Coupe that would fit what I am looking for. Anyone in Ohio/Illinois know this car? Anyone want to weigh in on price or what to look out for on the 2007 z4? I think the asking is pretty good. Any help is appreciated. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...e&rdpage=thumb Last edited by redvitesse; 02-03-2012 at 03:10 PM.. Reason: Oops Link |

that is a sickeningly good price. definitely have them pull a carfax if you're interested.
also, the car does not have ZSP (sport pkg), but interestingly does have the style 203 wheels on it. either somebody has changed the wheels, or the original owner spent the big bucks on upgrading. sadly, the lister does not provide the VIN for us to break down. also, you'll get more traffic in the "general" section.

Asking price seems real reasonable, almost too reasonable for someone that just listed it for sale. Embarrassed to say I have never driven a coupe, but have driven a conv. Am I right in assuming that the coupe is even more fun? BTW really like your rear diffuser and wheel choice |

coupe vs. roadster is a difficult topic...
the biggest differences are chassis stiffness and road noise. mostly the battle ends with people throwing their hands in the air and withdrawing muttering the likes of "to each his own", which i completely agree with. if you plan on tracking the car regularly, the coupe is the only way to go. the torsional rigidity alone puts the coupe on par with many supercars. the roadster is fine for track day events, but may fatigue with regular use, which may turn into a big repair bill. as a daily driver and driving interstate regularly, you may tire of the constant road noise always present in soft top vehicles. the coupe is BY FAR more rare than the roadster which may or may not matter to you as well. no matter what you like, you're welcome here on zpost! very few forums match its awesomeness.
