Roughly how much did the re-skin set you back? I've been thinking about doing them in red for ages. Just can't seem to find red OE seats. I think re-skin is in order.

Reupholstery was $800, I supplied the Alcantara.
The embroidery was $150 which also included design time.

InTgr8r, those came out amazing! Did you have the manual adjustment seats originally?

Thanks

Yes...
That was one thing I looked for when I changed to the coupe.
I wanted to keep the weight down as much as possible.

Did you get a chance to weigh them? I've searched the forums and haven't seen anyone post the weight of the manual seats. Would be good to know how much the weight savings are.

Ron posted the weight over at Bimmerfest about 6 years ago. IIRC the weight add per seat was ~ 15 pounds for the power apparatus

The handling has immensely improved even before alignment, but due to the fronts being about an inch longer than the z4's it is currently a little higher than stock (about 1/4 inch) in front and about the same as stock in rear. I have about three turns left in the front for adjustment (rears have alot of room to be lowered, but obviously will be limited by the amount I lower in the front so to not make it look stupid). I will post pictures with the suspension installed after alignment and ride height adjustments in about 6 weeks (heading away on business trip for a while).

Very interested to hear how the final height adjustment is. I'm straddling the line between TCK SA/DA or AST 4100/4200

This year I'm planning on grabbing some Stromung Exhaust. That's about it.

Mostly improving the nut behind the wheel this year

So much for the de-modding, huh?

Let us know about the Direzza's. Starting to wonder if the PSS will be the best bet for me and am considering these now. Ultimately, I will not drive the car in the rain unless I get caught in it and am looking for max grip without too much harshness Not too concerned about tread wear.

I went from the Direzza Star Spec Z1 two years ago to the PSS last year, will be returning to the Direzza ZII this year. The PSS is the better all round tyre, but actually wears a lot faster at autocross than the Direzza and feels quite "greasy" compared to the Direzza when the tyres are fully warmed up.

I'm really pleased with the RS-3's so far too! Better dry grip than the Star Specs.
