Or you could have just titled this thread "I would like to show off my beautiful new white Mercedes."
;-) It is a gorgeous looking car. As for the M looking small, yes. Heck, when I park our family's four bikes next to my MR it looks small. |

It is a tiny car. It barely fits my clubs in it. But it fits me, my clubs, my track helmet. All I need Get that modern station wagon CLS to be the people carrier JK, enjoy your new MB in good health.

What does the performance package include? Also wondering why you got anither 4 door opposed to something more exotic/2 door?

this thread should be re-titled to "the cls is sooooo big". The m coupe really isn't THAT small of a two-seater sports car, the cls is just a monster.

The m coupe is good enough for me at this point in my life. In a few years I amy get some 2 door exotic..... just have my 3rd kid on the way. .... wont be enjoying no 2 door exotic for a few years.

Love the CLS 63, and yes the headlights do look excellent. Its one of my favorite new models out on the market now, and im not even much of an MB fan. Have actually considered it for a replacement on my old E39.
on a side note... OUR SIDE MIRRORS FOLD UP??? sheesh, Ive had the car 18 months now and had no idea. I have tried to fold them up manually but was afraid I was going to break them off.

US spec are manual only. They rotate up, not fold.

Take the Driver out of the bag and lay it on top. You can get 2 sets of clubs in carry bags into a M Coupe

Was going for the m5..... but the more i looked at it.... bmw kinda went cheap on the interior finish.. it jusy doesnt feel like a 120000 car.....
Wanted the e63 wagon .... but everyone said it was butt ugly... i personally like wagons .. but the cls was 9000 more than the e class.... so figured what the heck... its slightly more rare and loved the carbon fiber interior with the 2 tone brown interior that was already in stock.... and it was a end of march firesale price.... bmw m5 was only giving 5 to 6 percent off..... and the sales were trying to hype up the car saying it was rare etc...... sales pitch didnt work. Saw a blue m5 the other day... best color for the car in my opinion.... but still doesnt look like a 120000 car. Just gonna keep the daily home to work car stock....

Agreed, neither the M5, nor the E63 look like $120k cars. The CLS has that lil something to it... like the upcoming M6 GranCoupe.
The Panamera GTS looks like a $130k car, however it's true that once you start adding options to it, you quickly get into $150k-170k... and the looks are... well, Panamer'ish. |
